Manchester United loaned out Marcus Rashford to Aston Villa in January and he put in a fine display off the bench in his Premier League debut for the club in their 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town on Saturday.

His thunderous free-kick cannoned off the bar in the second half and fell right into the path of Ollie Watkins who duly knocked it in to equalise.

The Englishman was electric and was given a rating of 8.1 by Sofascore. He almost set up a late winner as he ran at the Tractor Boys’ defence and beat numerous defenders before his cross was almost deflected into the visitors’ net.

He had four shots on goal and completed 86% of his passes. Rashford also contributed defensively, winning seven out of his 10 ground duels.

There was significantly worse news for Jadon Sancho at Chelsea as they disappointingly lost 0-3 to Brighton and Hove Albion on Friday night.

He came on as a 24th minute substitute and had very little impact on the match. He ended the game with zero shots on goal and none of his crosses reached their intended target.

Sancho did have one key pass and completed 77% of his passes but he was part of an all-round poor Chelsea showing.

Radek Vitek was back in action for FC Blau-Weiß Linz as they lost 1-3 at home to Altach.

The Czech keeper had a poor match, conceding three goals and he only made one save in total.

He completed just 50% of his passes and was only given a score of 6.1 on Sofascore.

Ethan Williams enjoyed a much more successful outing as he grabbed an assist in Cheltenham Town’s 3-2 win over Barrow.

He completed 69% of his passes but this included two key passes, including the assist.

Williams was also successful with both of his dribble attempts, as he played a key role in his side’s victory.

Rhys Bennett was on the losing side as his Fleetwood Town fell to Bromley 0-1. He played 77 minutes and made three clearances in the match.

He only made one tackle but won both his ground duels. The 21 year old was also secure on the ball, completing 83% of his passes.

Bennett also won three out of his five aerial battles.

Sonny Aljofree was also involved in a losing effort as Accrington Stanley fell to a 0-2 defeat to Morecambe.

He made a total of five tackles and three clearances in the match.

Aljofree also won five out of his six ground duels in an impressive defensive display.

Joe Hugill was also handed a start but failed to make much of an impression and was subbed off after 46 minutes for Carlisle United in their 0-0 stalemate with Colchester United.

He only managed two shots in the match and only completed three accurate passes.

Hugill also won three aerial battles and three grounds duels in the game.

Finally youngster Jack Kingdon came off the bench for Rochdale in the 74th minute and helped his side to a 1-1 draw away to Southend United.
