Newcastle host Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime in search of a new club record.
The Magpies are targeting a 10th consecutive win in all competitions following a fine run of form. Newcastle thrashed Wolves in midweek with Alexander Isak on target twice.
The Swedish striker has scored in eight consecutive Premier League games with only two players having ever produced a longer goalscoring run in the division. Isak has netted 11 goals in those eight games to place himself in contention for the Golden Boot. His form has helped propel Newcastle into the Champions League places, after the North East side overhauled Chelsea in midweek.

The visitors this weekend are also enjoying a successful season. Bournemouth are eight unbeaten in the Premier League and held Chelsea to a draw at Stamford Bridge last time out. Andoni Iraola’s side also have their eyes on European football this season.
Fabian Schar sat out the win over Wolves through illness but could return to the side at centre-back. Martin Dubravka is likely to retain his place in goal, although Nick Pope is nearing his return to action.
Harvey Barnes and Jamaal Lascelles remain in the treatment room for the Magpies, while Callum Wilson will also miss the clash against his former team. The 32-year-old featured for just 58 minutes in the Premier League this season due to injuries.
Newcastle predicted XI: Dubravka; Livramento, Schar, Botman, Hall; Tonali, Guimaraes, Joelinton; Murphy, Gordon, Isak.
