FC Barcelona are set to kick off their game against UD Las Palmas soon. The Catalan giants know how important this game is, and they seem ready to defend their top spot in La Liga after seizing their opportunity against Rayo Vallecano. Everything is now on Barcelona, as they will be the deciders of their own fate moving forward.

However, they know exactly how complicated of an opponent Las Palmas can be. Last time out, the opponents managed to beat Barcelona and gave them quite the hard time. This time around, however, the Catalan giants need to retaliate and get their revenge.

For that reason, it seems that Hansi Flick has decided to field a strong starting line-up. Here is the official starting eleven for Barcelona that will be facing the team from the Canary Islands.

In goal, as expected, is Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. Yet to taste defeat in 2025, the Polish goalkeeper knows exactly what he has to do in order to keep Las Palmas away from the Barcelona goal in this game.

Ahead of him, the two starting centre-backs will be Pau Cubarsi and Eric Garcia. Alongside their combination of defensive awareness and ball-playing abilities, the two Barça defenders will also need to be aware of their offside trap tactic at all times.

On their flanks, Alejandro Balde and Jules Kounde will be starting. They will be tasked with helping out their fellow defenders, but also in terms of helping out their forwards from the wide flanks.

In the defensive midfield positions, Pedri and Marc Casado will form the double pivot. Both of the players are enjoying a great run of form, and they both have the technical quality to exploit the weaknesses in their opponent’s structure, but they also have the awareness to help stabilize the team when needed.

Right ahead of them, the wingers for this game will be Raphinha and Lamine Yamal. In between them, Fermin Lopez will be the player to take over as the team’s primary attacking midfielder. All three of them will need to showcase their offensive threat and their creativity to put pressure on Las Palmas.

Finally, up top, Robert Lewandowski will be the player to start for Barcelona. Currently the leader in terms of the league’s top goal scorers, the Polish ace will be looking to find the back of the net again.
