Maria Sole Ferrieri Caputi has been appointed to be the referee for Inter Milan’s Serie A match against Venezia on Sunday.
The Lega Serie A confirm the complete list of officials for the fixture, via FCInterNews. Furthermore, Valerio Marini will be on VAR duty for the clash.
Inter take on Venezia in Serie A this weekend. The Nerazzurri host the newly-promoted team at the San Siro for a matchday eleven clash in the Italian top flight.
Inter are hoping to keep the momentum going after an away victory against Empoli. The Nerazzurri ran out 3-0 winners from the Stadio Carlo Castellani in Tuscany.
Meanwhile, Venezia got their second win of the season this week. They beat Udinese 3-2 in a Serie A thriller.
However, the Lagunari have been facing a tough battle to remain in Serie A in their first season back in the division.
Therefore, Eusebio Di Francesco’s team remain in the relegation places in the league table even after their victory over Udinese.
Inter will not be underestimating Venezia by any means. They’ll know that the Venetian team will have all the motivation in the world to scrap for a result considering their place in the bottom three.
But at the same time, the Nerazzurri will certainly have the pressure of being favourites on them for the clash.
The referee for Saturday’s match will be Maria Sole Ferrieri Caputi.
Assisting Ferrieri Caputi in her duties will be Emanuele Prena and Alex Cavallina.
The role of the fourth official, meanwhile, will fall to Paride Tremolada.
In the VAR booth, Valerio Marini will oversee the match to ensure to correct any errors by the on-pitch officials.
Assisting Marini in his duties will be Daniele Chiffi.
Inter will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch rather than refereeing controversy.
