The club have released a new Newcastle United training gallery of photos.
The images released, showing Newcastle United players training ahead of Monday’s match, plus of course also ahead of a certain game at Wembley a week on Sunday.
A bit of insight…potentially, into who may and may not be available for this game, as Newcastle United take on West Ham, then Liverpool six days later in the Carabao Cup Final.
Newcastle United looking to secure what would be a massive three Premier League points, before turning their full attention to Wembley.
The photos published by Newcastle United featuring Wednesday’s training and the following first team squad players involved from what we could see:
Harvey Barnes, Anthony Gordon, Bruno Guimaraes, Emil Krafh, Alexander Isak, Joelinton, Tino Livramento, Lewis Miley, Jacob Murphy, Will Osula, Nick Pope, John Ruddy, Fabian Schar, Sandro Tonali, Joe Willock, Callum Wilson
As you can see, 16 first team squad players featuring in the official training photos released, although Anthony Gordon suspended for the next three games, including West Ham and Liverpool.
We now know that both Lewis Hall and Sven Botman will have surgery, with the pair set to miss the rest of the season. Jamaal Lascelles is back out on the grass but working with physios, not the group, as he continues his long-term recovery.
Difficult to draw any concrete conclusions on those not able to be seen in terms of injury/availability, with the club liking to keep the opposition guessing, plus not always all players in Newcastle United training getting included in the photo gallery.
Of the others not seen in the Newcastle United training images, you have the likes of Dan Burn, martin Dubravka,, Sean Longstaff, Matt Targett and Kieran Trippier.
