A French outlet has claimed that Chelsea once again attempted to try another transfer hijack of one Tottenham player this transfer window.

We all remember when Willian was about to join Spurs and Chelsea came in late on to hijack the deal and bring him there instead, that transfer has gone down in history and Chelsea fans even sing about it still now.

EXCLUSIVE! The SIXTEEN players Chelsea made attempts on trying to sign in January but failed!

Well, they might have had another hijack to sing about if Chelsea pulled this one off, because they went for a Willian 2.0.

However, this attempts sounds a little desperate and very embarrassing on Chelsea’s part.

L’Equipe are reporting that Chelsea tried to Hijack Tel’s loan move to Spurs when he was waiting at the airport to fly to London, but it was too late, Tel had chosen Spurs.

If Chelsea wanted Tel then they should have been pushing and trying harder to sign him BEFORE the deadline day instead of leaving everything until the last minute.

“Our sporting structure has a lot of egg on their face right now. It’s bad business across the board here. I mean, you bought players only to loan them immediately,” Presenter Nick Verlaney said.

You’re bringing back players who should have been with the squad all along. It looks like a lot of mismanagement all around. And if you ask me right now if Chelsea have a better squad for the second half of the season than they had for the first half – I think the answer is unequivocally: ‘no’.”
