Leandro Paredes has had a season of ups and downs, with market rumors that, at times, have called into question his future in Rome.
A future that, as reported by Il Messaggero, could be far from Trigoria.
From the moment he was supposed to leave the capital after playing sparingly under Juric, he once again found himself central to Ranieri, with the automatic renewal starting in March and running until 2026.
In the meantime, rumors of his return to Boca emerged, the Argentine side who the Giallorossi have a gentlemen’s agreement with that allows them to sign Paredes for a fee of 3 million and up.
In the last five outings, only in the derby has he started from the first minute, only to then to be taken off at half-time.
And even with Fiorentina, Cristante appears favored over him to partner Koné.
Paredes’ future remains a mystery and will also depend on the new coach.
Boca wants him but on a free transfer. Additionally there is the option of Santos with Neymar and possible offers from Saudi Pro League.
