A goal from Ousmane Dembélé sealed victory over the Principality club, and the Parisians went on to win their 13th Trophée des Champions (after 1995, 1998, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023) in 29 editions. With this success, captain Marquinhos becomes the most successful player in the history of Paris Saint-Germain, with 31 trophies won since his arrival in 2013.

The Rouge & Bleu have helped the Club reach the symbolic milestone of 50 domestic trophies, the 52nd in total, 34 of which have been won since Qatar Sports Investments took over in 2011. During this period, the Parisians have achieved the exceptional feat of winning the Trophée des Champions on 11 occasions.

This latest success is the culmination of the hard work put in by Luis Enrique and his entire staff over the last eighteen months to establish themselves over the long term, and also illustrates the loyalty and unwavering support of the Parisian fans, who travelled all the way to Doha to cheer on their team and share in the excitement.

Paris Saint-Germain have started 2025 in style by winning their first trophy of the season. The next chapters will be written on all fronts, from the Champions League to Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France.

Luis Enrique, Paris Saint-Germain Coach: « Winning a trophy is always a source of joy. Starting 2025 in this way, in a stadium that's almost full, with lots of people cheering for Paris, with Parisian supporters in the stadium. Starting the year like this gives us a boost and confidence, so we have to take advantage of it and think about the future. »
