Paulo Dybala has extended his contract with Roma until 2026.
The extension was automatic and, as Corriere dello Sport writes, kicked in following the recent 3-1 win over Genoa.
From now on, Dybala will earn 8 million per season, maintaining his position as Roma’s highest paid player.
The salary will likely be spread over a longer new contract which Roma and the player’s entourage are currently working on.
The objective of the club would be to extend his deal until 2027, alleviating the weight on the club’s wage bill.
