Tottenham Hotspur entertained Bodo/Glimt at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier tonight as they focused on securing a good result at home in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League semifinal tie. Spurs made a dream start to the game as they scored the opening goal in the first minute when Brennan Johnson got his name on the scoresheet. James Maddison doubled Tottenham’s advantage in the 34th minute as the North London club went into the half-time interval 2-0 up on the scoreline.

Dominic Solanke scored his team’s third goal from the penalty spot in the 61st minute. Ulrik Saltnes got a goal back for the visitors in the 83rd minute as Tottenham ended up securing a convincing 3-1 win in front of their home fans.

Vicario was hardly troubled during the game but failed to keep a clean sheet.

LB: Destiny Udogie – 7/10

Udogie managed to catch the eye at times on both ends of the pitch.

CM: Yves Bissouma – 7/10

He offered solid protection for his teammates at the back and was not shy of having a strike at goal.

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur – 7.5/10

Bentancur anchored the midfield well and made one good run with the ball.

CM: James Maddison – 7.5/10

He caused some problems for the opposition defenders and managed to score in the 34th minute.

RW: Brennan Johnson – 7.5/10

Johnson gave Tottenham the lead in the first minute but was quiet otherwise.

ST: Dominic Solanke – 7.5/10

He was not shy of having a strike at goal and did well to score his penalty in the 61st minute.

LW: Richarlison – 7/10

Richarlison was a real handful for the opposition centre-backs in the first half and deserves credit for earning an assist.
