It's been a nightmare week for Liverpool and their fans.

Seven days ago the Reds were ahead going into their Champions League last 16 second leg with Paris Saint-Germain.

Arne Slot's men also had the small matter of a Wembley final to look forward on what would be a vital week in their superb season.

But in the space of just a week, things have come crashing down for the Merseyside outfit.

First Liverpool went out of the Champions League on penalties to PSG and then were defeated by Newcastle in the EFL Cup final.

And if that wasn't bad enough, the French giants felt the need to mock one supporter who was seen sporting a PSG cap at Wembley on Sunday.

Liverpool fans must be the only ones thankful it's the international break for the next couple of weeks.
