This year has seen PSG play against several Premier League clubs on their way to the UEFA Champions League final. As a result, could the Parisians be a destination for English players soon?
Moreover, Ligue 1 is beginning to see more English talent head over to establish themselves, such as Angel Gomes, who went to LOSC Lille, and Charlie Cresswell, who spent this past campaign with Toulouse FC.
Under Luis Enrique, PSG have also seen a growth in young players despite the standard being to win trophies. As a result, could the capital club move for a prominent English player this summer if the opportunity arises, one expert believes so.

In his latest column for Ensemble PSG, Robin Bairner, the chief editor at Football Transfers, wrote that Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo would be an interesting target for the capital club to bolster their midfield, which already has a plethora of talent.
“For a wildcard deal that Luis Enrique might be advised to make, look no further than Manchester United and Kobbie Mainoo,” Bairner wrote. “The young midfielder could be on his way out of Old Trafford due to the club’s financial position, while his profile doesn’t fit the prototype athletic figure required in Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-3 system.
“Mainoo, 20, is a player whose abilities are more technical than physical. That could make him ideal for the PSG midfield, where there is a premium placed on this type of quality. He ticks one other major box that PSG have sought in recent years; he is a young player with ample scope to improve.
“Yes, the outlay would be significant and, yes, it is an area where there is already strong competition at Parc des Princes, but for a shock deal, this is potentially one to watch.”
