Real Madrid star expected to be rewarded for form with international recall | OneFootball

A member of the midifeld ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is considered as increasingly likely to be afforded an international recall next month.

That’s according to El Larguero, who point towards Dani Ceballos as the player in question.

Midfielder Ceballos has of course spent the last couple of months establishing himself as something of a key member of boss Carlo Ancelotti’s XI.

After previously being considered as well down the engine room pecking order in Spain’s capital, a string of standout performances have seen the former Arsenal man beat out the likes of Eduardo Camavinga and Luka Cubarsí to a consistent starting berth.

And as much has not gone at all unnoticed on the internation front in Spain.

This comes amid confirmation on the part of El Larguero that Luis de la Fuente and his coaching staff are giving real consideration to affording Ceballos a fresh La Roja call-up next month:

‘Antón Meana has said that he is an option on the table for the coach and that the RFEF monitors the player and sees his return to the national team in a positive light.’
