Inter Milan defender Benjamin Pavard has been on the sidelines for over a month now.

The former Bayern Munich defender last played in a Serie A loss to Roma in April. He had started that match, but came off with an ankle sprain early in the first half.

That injury meant that Pavard missed Inter’s last four league matches of the season. He was also absent for both legs of the Nerazzurri’s Champions League semifinal tie against Barcelona.

However, Benjamin Pavard is now back in training.

The 29-year-old has had a few weeks in which to fully recover from his ankle sprain.

Therefore, reports the Gazzetta dello Sport, there is no doubt that Pavard will be ready for tomorrow’s Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.

In the Frenchman’s absence, Yann Bisseck has been starting on the right of Inter’s back three. Meanwhile, Matteo Darmian is also capable of playing there.

However, reports the Gazzetta, it should be Pavard who lines up from the start against PSG tomorrow.
