Inter Milan are ready to give teenage striker Francesco Pio Esposito a chance in the first team next season.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908. They report that the Nerazzurri will test out the young striker before deciding on whether to send him out on loan.

At the moment, 19-year-old striker Francesco Pio Esposito is on loan at Spezia in Serie B.

But one thing is clear: Esposito will not be playing in the second division for much longer.

Having felt his way into senior football last season, Pio Esposito has really exploded in form this campaign.

Therefore, there is little doubt that Esposito is ready for Serie A.

At the end of the season, Inter will have a decision to make regarding Pio Esposito’s future.

When the Italy Under-21 international’s loan spell at Spezia ends, he’ll be part of the senior Inter squad. He previously starred at youth team level.

Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi will have a chance to watch Pio Esposito in training.

Moreover, the teenage striker will have a chance to be part of the Inter squad for the Club World Cup this summer.

And with the likes of Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa departing at the end of the campaign, the teenager could be the player Inter turn to to bolster their attack.

Otherwise, by far the likeliest possibility would be a loan to a team in Serie A.
