Inter Milan are looking to tie down coach Simone Inzaghi with a new contract amid Premier League and Saudi Pro League interest.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInter1908. They report that the Nerazzurri will also look to convince their coach with an ambitious sporting project for the future.
Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has certainly risen to global attention over the last few years.
Inzaghi had been one of the most highly-regarded coaches in Serie A during his time at Lazio.
But the 49-year-old has reached another level since taking over at Inter in 2021.
Inzaghi has now guided Inter to two Champions League final.
As SportItalia note, Inzaghi is if anything held in higher regard abroad than he is in Italy.
In his home country, the former Lazio coach is feeling the pressure to win the Champions League, or else suffer a “disappointing” season.
On the contrary, in the rest of Europe, the perception is that no matter what happens in the final in Munich, Inzaghi has accomplished something spectacular already.

And Inzaghi’s work at Inter has led to a number of clubs dreaming of appointing him.
SportItalia note that the top clubs in the Premier League all see Inzaghi as something of a dream hire.
Meanwhile, there is always the possibility of a truly massive wage offer from the Saudi Pro League.
Therefore, Inter are making haste in the process of contract talks with their coach.
The Nerazzurri want to extend Inzaghi’s deal until the end of June 2027.
Then, SportItalia note, Inter also want to convince Inzaghi of the future of their sporting project.
Inter will rake in revenues exceeding €130 million from UEFA prize money alone this season. Then, there will be more cash from the Club World Cup.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri will make promises to Inzaghi of spending big in the Champions League. They are aiming to refurbish the squad and build for the long term.
