Repubblica: ‘If the opportunity arose’ – Milan monitoring Vlahovic-Juventus situation

AC Milan would consider a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic if he were available on the right terms, a report claims.
Milan decided to invest €35m including bonuses to sign Santiago Gimenez in the winter transfer window from Feyenoord, but he has not scored for over one month and it is reasonable to expect growing pains from a young centre-forward who must learn the ropes in Serie A.
Meanwhile, Tammy Abraham is the deputy and he is only on a dry loan deal from AS Roma, with doubts about the margins for a permanent deal. Then there is Luka Jovic who is on an expiring deal, and Francesco Camarda who recently turned 17.
In the event of Abraham’s farewell, it will be interesting to see who will arrive at Milanello to be the alternative to Gimenez. Journalist Andrea Sereni wrote in La Repubblica: ‘Also pay attention to the Vlahovic-Juventus situation: if the opportunity arose, Milan would not turn away’.
Vlahovic will probably leave Juventus because his contract expires in June 2026 and there does not seem to be any chance of renewal. Without signing a new agreement, the former Fiorentina man could depart for €25-30m.
It remains to be seen what his demands will be in terms of salary, considering that today at Juve he earns €10-12m net per year. Perhaps a transfer to the Premier League is more likely, therefore, but if Max Allegri were to arrive then the scenario could change.
