Inter have big plans for striker Francesco Pio Esposito.

The Nerazzurri are reportedly ready to offer the 19-year-old a new long-term contract.

Inter have already begun talks with Pio Esposito’s representatives. They are aiming to extend his deal until the end of June 2030.

And there is no secret why Inter want to tie Pio Esposito down with a new contract.

Plenty of clubs would like to take the teenage striker off Inter’s hands.

Reportedly, Napoli made an offer for the 19-year-old. They didn’t want to sign him on loan – they want to sign Pio Esposito outright.

But Inter rejected that bid.

Meanwhile, from the Premier League the likes of Manchester United and Leicester City have reportedly expressed an interest in the young striker’s signature.

Inter Won’t Bring Francesco Pio Esposito To Club World Cup Due To International Commitments

Francesco Pio Esposito is a player who Inter see as part of their long-term plans.

At nineteen years of age, though, there is still plenty of room for Pio Esposito to grow before he really starts to make an impact in the Nerazzurri senior squad.

Therefore, it is all but certain that the 19-year-old will go out on loan this summer. This season he’s on loan with Spezia, where he’s currently the top scorer in Serie B.

There had been suggestions that Inter could bring Pio Esposito to the Club World Cup this summer.

That competition could prove a perfect testing ground. The young striker could show what he is capable of in an Inter shirt for the first time.

Particularly with Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa heading for the exit door when their contracts expire before that tournament begins.

However, unfortunately the Club World Cup happens at the same time as the Under-21 Euros.

And Pio Esposito is a star man for Italy at that level. Therefore, he’ll be part of the Azzurri squad this summer, rather than Inter’s.
