Roma are preparing a list of alternatives in case talks with Las Palmas were to collapse over the transfer of Mika Marmol.
The 23-year-old centreback has long been tipped as Roma’s preferred option to replace Mario Hermoso.
However, negotiations for him have proven extremely difficult as Las Palmas continue to demand a fee of 10 million euros which corresponds to the player’s release clause.
For now, Roma’s offer has not come close to this sum.
As a result, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Roma are preparing to turn to Racing for the defender Marco Di Cesare who had already been linked with the club at the end of last year.
He is rumored to be the first alternative to Marmol.
