Mohamed Salah has been crowned Premier League Player of the Season for 2024-25.

It’s the second time he’s picked up the honour – the first was back in 2017-18, when he lit up the league in his first year at Liverpool.

This season, he’s been nothing short of incredible, playing a key role in firing the Reds to the title, which they wrapped up early - with four games still to play.

Salah’s racked up 28 goals and 18 assists in the league for Arne Slot’s side, with one game left to go – a home clash against Crystal Palace.

He kicked off the season as the 11th top scorer in Premier League history, but he’s now climbed all the way up to fifth with 185 goals. Only Alan Shearer, Harry Kane, Wayne Rooney and Andy Cole are ahead of him now.

He’s also overtaken Sergio Aguero to become the top-scoring overseas player in Premier League history, and he’s climbed to fourth place overall when it comes to total goals and assists combined.

He beat out plenty of competition to scoop the award, including his own teammates Ryan Gravenberch and Virgil van Dijk, plus Morgan Gibbs-White, Alexander Isak, Bryan Mbeumo, Declan Rice, and Chris Wood.
