Celtic face Aberdeen today and that famous old trophy, the Scottish Cup is up for grabs. Celtic will be looking to win it for the 43rd time, with no one in the county even remotely close to that tally. A win would also earn us a clean sweep of domestic honours for the ninth time in our illustrious history.
So we have certainly have plenty riding on today and we will descend on Hampden confident that the team can deliver a victory that will see them write yet another chapter in the history of our magnificent football club.

Yes, as I’ve already mentioned this morning, Aberdeen will no doubt provide tough opposition as it is a final after all, but we are more than capable of winning on the day. It will also be interesting to see if those 20,000 tickets turns into 20,000 bums on seats, if it does it will make for an incredible atmosphere with both sets of supporters roaring their teams on.
Celtic has the experience and more importantly the ability. In every position we have better players. No-one in the Aberdeen team would get near to winning a place in this Celtic side, indeed none of them would even make our bench.

We also have an elite manager in Brendan Rodgers who incredibly boasts a one hundred percent record in this competition. Our skipper Callum McGregor also boasts an incredible record of having never lost a major cup final in his long Celtic career.
I’m confident we can make more history today. Let’s do this Bhoys. The record books await the writing of the next chapter. Go do it.
