Goalkeeper Josep Martinez believes that Inter Milan “have the mentality to win everything” ahead of their Serie A clash vs Napoli.
The Spaniard spoke to Italian broadcaster RAI Radio, via FCInterNews, ahead of next Saturday’s match.
Inter Milan are now right in the thick of the most decisive period of the season.
In the league, the title race is really entering the key weeks. And Inter have just gained an advantage, taking advantage of a surprise loss by Napoli against Como to go top of the table.
Meanwhile, in the Champions League Inter will face Feyenoord in the round of sixteen in March.
The likes of Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Barcelona, and Benfica are among Inter’s potential opponents on the path to the final of that competition.
And then, before any of that, Inter have the Coppa Italia to attend to.
The Nerazzurri face Lazio in the quarterfinals of that competition this week. They will take on the Biancocelesti on Tuesday for a chance to play in a two-legged semifinal against AC Milan.
After that match against Lazio, however, comes Inter’s Serie A showdown with Napoli.
The fact that the Nerazzurri go into that match one point ahead of the Partenopei certainly feels like a momentum shift.

However, it is still a match in which the pressure will be high.
The last time that the two sides met ended in a 1-1 draw at the San Siro in November. And this time out is sure to be another competitive match.
Goalkeeper Josep Martinez, who made his first Serie A start for Inter on Saturday against Genoa, said that “We know it’s a massive match.”
“We have the mentality to win every match. But that’s still a long way away.”
“In Naples, we’ll try to win it,” added the former Genoa and RB Leipzig keeper.
