Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur could be set for disappointment after Real Madrid entered the race to sign Enzo Millot from Stuttgart.
The North London duo are tracking the midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window. Millot is expected to leave Stuttgart this summer due to a modest release clause of around just €20m (£16.8m). Stuttgart are understood to already be assessing the market for a replacement.
The 22-year-old was a key part of the Stuttgart side that secured a runners-up finish in the Bundesliga last season and caught the eye during their European campaign. This season, the Frenchman has six goals and seven assists across 33 appearances in the Bundesliga and Champions League.
In the latter competition, Millot ranks in the top six percent of attacking midfielders and wingers for expected assists, fouls drawn and through balls per 90 minutes.
Having operated across a number of midfield roles, Millot’s adaptability and release clause have caught the attention of Real Madrid. Spanish outlet Defensa Central are reporting the European champions are considering an approach.
Millot has represented France up to u-21 level and was part of the squad that won the silver medal at the 2024 Olympic tournament in Paris.
