The 3 Charlton Athletic players who surely want to escape The Valley from June

FLW takes a look at three players who may want to leave Charlton Athletic this summer.
Charlton Athletic have impressed in League One under Nathan Jones so far this season.
The Addicks have put themselves well in contention to achieve promotion back to the Championship, with an incredible run of form since early December having left them comfortably inside the top six, with automatic promotion not yet completely out of the question.
However, despite how well things have gone during the 2024/25 campaign so far, there are a few players on the books at Charlton who could potentially be eyeing a summer exit.
With that in mind, let's take a look at three Charlton players who might be looking for a way out at The Valley.
Charlton signed striker Gassan Ahadme from Ipswich Town for an undisclosed fee, which was reported to be in the region of £1 million, during the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old joined the Addicks after he scored 11 goals in 29 League One appearances for Cambridge United during a loan spell last season.
Unfortunately for Ahadme, he has been unable to reproduce that form in a Charlton shirt, and as things stand ahead of the Addicks' trip to Peterborough United this weekend, he has only scored once in the league this term.
The striker has not featured for Charlton in a league game since the turn of the year. If he continues to be overlooked by Nathan Jones, it would be no surprise to see him leave the club this summer.
Another striker who has been out of favour in SE7 recently is Sierra Leone international Daniel Kanu.
The 20-year-old has not been involved in any of the Addicks' last five games, and has only scored one goal this season as things stand ahead of Charlton's game against the Posh on Saturday.
Kanu has made nearly 70 first-team appearances since graduating from the academy at Sparrows Lane, which is highly impressive for a player of his age, but considering he has only been handed five starts so far this season, he could be keen on a temporary move away this summer in order to get some regular minutes under his belt.
He scored four goals in six games during a loan spell at Southend United in 2023, before returning to The Valley and scoring six goals in League One before the end of the 2023/24 campaign, so another spell away from the club could do him the world of good next season.
Charlton midfielder Terry Taylor made eight appearances in League One for the Addicks during the first half of the season, but he joined Northampton Town on loan in January, and he has already played more league games for the Cobblers this term.
The 23-year-old struggled to force his way into Nathan Jones' plans, with the Welshman not including him in any of the six League One matchday squads prior to his departure in January.
Considering the form of Conor Coventry and Greg Docherty, as well as the fact that Jones seems to be a big fan of young Jamaican midfielder Karoy Anderson, it seems unlikely that Taylor will be a big part of his manager's plans going forward.
There is no doubt that Taylor is more than capable of being a starter in the third tier, so it would not come as a shock if he was keen to leave permanently in the summer.
