Thiago Motta has admitted that he will not be watching the highly-anticipated Serie A match between Milan and Napoli on Tuesday evening, as he prefers to spend time at home relaxing with his family where possible.
Milan and Napoli will kick-off at 19.45 GMT in the first big game of a full midweek round of Serie A fixtures over the next few days.
Motta explained at his press conference that he does not need to scout either team at the moment, as his Juventus side have recently drawn 0-0 with the Partenopei, and will not face the Rossoneri for the first time until the end of November.
Instead, he plans to spend time at home with his family ahead of another important game for Juventus on Wednesday evening.
“I won’t watch it, I’ll have dinner at home with the members of my family who are here, I want to be happy with them,” Motta explained during his press conference on Tuesday.
He continued: “Milan is far away and we’ve already faced Napoli, so I won’t watch the match.”
Juventus will also be in Serie A action on Wednesday evening, when they host Parma at the Allianz Stadium.
