The situation at Tottenham is becoming increasingly uncertain, with Ange Postecoglou under mounting pressure to turn things around.
Despite a promising start to the season, recent struggles have left fans and club officials questioning whether the Australian is the right man to lead Spurs forward.
While Postecoglou still has time to steady the ship, the club's hierarchy is reportedly preparing contingency plans should results fail to improve.
A number of names have emerged as potential candidates, including some unexpected options.
With the transfer window closing and the return of key players from injury, the coming weeks will be crucial in determining Postecoglou’s future.
If things do not change soon, Tottenham may be forced to make a difficult decision.

Reports suggest that Spurs have compiled a shortlist of nine potential successors, should Postecoglou’s tenure come to an early end.
Among the leading names are Borussia Dortmund’s Edin Terzic, Brentford’s Thomas Frank, and Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola.
Bournemouth, aware of Spurs’ interest in Iraola, are already working on securing him with a new contract to fend off potential suitors.
Another candidate being considered is Fulham’s Marco Silva, though his reported £8m release clause may make him a less attractive option for chairman Daniel Levy.
However, the biggest surprise on the list is Ipswich Town’s Kieran McKenna. The 38-year-old, who came through the ranks at Spurs' academy, has impressed with his tactical approach despite Ipswich’s struggles in the Premier League.
Despite the variety of names on the shortlist, according to GIVEMESPORT, Ryan Mason is the most realistic interim solution if Postecoglou departs.
Mason, who is currently part of the coaching staff, has already served as caretaker manager twice before and is highly respected within the dressing room.
The media reports that Ryan Mason is seen as 'a strong candidate' to take charge in the short term while the club searches for a long-term replacement.
His familiarity with the squad and understanding of Spurs’ philosophy make him a logical choice if Tottenham decide to make a change.
