Transfer-linked Barcelona star sends message ahead of Real Madrid showdown | OneFootball

Barcelona star Ronald Araújo has taken to social media, to send out something of a rallying cry ahead of his side’s meeting with Real Madrid.

The name of stopper Araújo has of course dominated the headlines across all of Spain over the course of the last week.

This comes amid mounting interest in the signature of the Uruguayan international from a number of leading clubs across the continent.

Juventus and Arsenal, to name but two, are understood to be eager to land Araújo before the winter transfer market is out.

Not only that, but claims have begun to spread that the player himself is ready to push for a transfer, after falling behind the first-choice centre-back pairing of Pau Cubarsí and Iñigo Martínez in Hansi Flick’s squad.

Safe to say, then, that all of a Barcelona persuasion will no doubt be interested to hear of Araújo making clear his commitment to the Blaugrana cause, at least for the time being.

Taking to his official Instagram account late last night, the 25-year-old sent a message of togetherness to all associated with the club, ahead of their Spanish Super Cup meeting with arch rivals Real Madrid:

‘Prepared for tomorrow, everyone together!’
