It seems that three or four fairly high profile Foxes are not in Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy's plans. Although the Dutchman attempted to be coy about the situation, it is very easy to read between the lines. One specific Leicester player in this quartet might even be under suspicion of being counterproductive by his boss.
The group of so-called undesirables under van Nistelrooy have in fact been named. In addition to that, RvN vaguely explained to a point why the four were not involved in the recent Premier League match against Chelsea.
And now we would like to report on what was said by the man who previously played for Manchester United. Along with offering our view on RvN's decisions in each case. So, would any of these unwanted footballers be able to help an inferior team improve? And is the City head coach right to have respectively disregarded them?
A few eyebrows raised when it was revealed that Kasey McAteer, Jannik Vestergaard, Odsonne Edouard and Oliver Skipp were not injured for the Blues clash on Sunday. First of all, Edouard is so far down the pecking order that he's not even really included. So that wasn't a shock. Although, I believe the Frenchman has been treated poorly due to minimal opportunity at King Power Stadium.
On to McAteer now. The Republic of Ireland international was favoured and impactful under former LCFC gaffers. However, he's been out of favour for a while now. Clearly RvN isn't particularly a fan. Yet I would consider the 23-year-old as a substitute.
While Skipp was the spare man at Stamford Bridge, he didn't actually make the squad. With the amount of defensive midfielders we have, signing the ex-Tottenham Hotspur man was always a mistake.
