Juventus head coach Igor Tudor offered his verdict on his side’s performance in a dramatic 1-1 draw at Bologna. Speaking to DAZN via TMW, the Croatian tactician praised the team’s collective effort at one of the most challenging stadiums in Italy.

Khephren Thuram fired Juventus only nine minutes into the game, yet Remo Freuler drew Bologna level with his first goal of the season. Despite chances on both ends, the scoreline didn’t change as the top-four adversaries shared the spoils for the fifth consecutive meeting.

“We prepared the game a bit differently with a 3-5-2,” Tudor said. “Everyone knows Bologna are a well-built team, and there’s the right kind of enthusiasm in this stadium to perform well. I think it’s a good point – I’m happy.

“It was a solid match; this is a ground where everyone has struggled, and despite our absences, we definitely took something positive away. There were opportunities, but the boys gave everything.

“When you push yourself to the limit, you lose sharpness in the final third. Those who came off the bench still gave what they could,” the Juventus boss added.

Juventus will lock horns with in-form Lazio next weekend in a clash that may determine their top-four hopes.

“I don’t think it will be decisive,” the Juventus manager stated. “Nine points is a lot, and nothing gets decided in one match. We have to take it game by game, and the quality will emerge.
