Two Real Madrid coaching staff members miss Alavés clash | OneFootball

Two members of the coaching staff at La Liga giants Real Madrid are not on the sideline for the club’s latest outing.

That’s according to Guillermo Rai of The Athletic, who points towards Carlo Ancelotti and Antonio Pintus as the pair in question.

Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action.

Shifting focus back towards matters on the domestic front, Los Blancos have welcomed Deportivo Alavés to Spain’s capital, for a La Liga clash.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops headed into the matchup aware that nothing but a victory will suffice, after falling a full seven points adrift of arch rivals Barcelona in the title race.

In efforts towards as much, though, the reigning Spanish champions have been forced to make do without their headmaster’s contributions.

This comes with Ancelotti suspended at Mendizorroza, for an accumulation of yellow cards.

And the Italian is joined in sitting out Sunday’s action by compatriot Antonio Pintus, the Real Madrid fitness coach absent for what are labelled as ‘personal reasons’.
