Following Aston Villa’s victory over Club Brugge, defender Tyrone Mings admitted to watching the return leg between Liverpool and PSG while using three words, to sum up his excitement about the upcoming quarterfinal tie against the Parisians.

“Of course [he watched the PSG game yesterday], what else was I meant to be doing?” Mings told TNT Sports. “Very tough game. We’re so excited. We play in the toughest league in the world. When it comes to the Champions League, we’ll go there and give a good account of ourselves. We’ll enjoy every moment but we have a lot of firepower and quality ourselves.”

Asensio will get a chance to go up against the coach who limited his role this season, a decision that played a big part in his move to Villa Park during the winter transfer window.

Meanwhile, Unai Emery will reunite with the club he managed from 2016 to 2018, a tenure that saw him win a league title, two Coupe de France trophies, two Coupe de la Ligue trophies, and two Trophée des Champions.
