Enzo Maresca has been a little prickly when asked certain questions in recent weeks. He’s clearly tired of being asked why some players are included or not included – we can understand why. Equally, it’s one of the more interesting things to ask about in pressers which otherwise turn out pretty bland.
Today he was delighted to have an answer for a question about one absentee from last night’s game – Carney Chukwuemeka. The midfielder had apparently felt ill during the night and ended up excluded from even the B team squad.

We’re not sure he would have got on the pitch anyway, as Maresca has taken a real liking to Cesare Casadei.
