Renato Veiga is at JMedical, Juventus’s medical facility, and is currently undergoing a medical ahead of his January move from Chelsea.
The full-back is moving to the Allianz Stadium on a straight loan deal, so he will return to Stamford Bridge in the summer regardless of what happens over the next six months.
Juventus will pay a fee of €5m to bring the 21-year-old in on loan for the remainder of the 2024-25 season, but Chelsea are expected to continue covering the player’s salary, which helps keep the costs down for the Bianconeri.

The three-time Portugal international is set to become Thiago Motta’s third signing of the January transfer window following the recent arrivals of Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain and Alberto Costa from Vitoria Guimaraes.
There are reports that the Old Lady are still looking for further reinforcements in the form of a new centre-back to cover for the long-term injured Gleison Bremer.
