Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé turned heads on Friday, courtesy of a moment of individual brilliance in training.

Frontman Mbappé, for his part, is in the midst of what has proven something of a difficult week.

First, the France international was widely criticised, for his performance en route to Real’s El Clásico defeat at the hands of Barcelona.

Then, 48 hours on, Mbappé finished in something of a disappointing 6th in the final voting for the Ballon d’Or.

Safe to say, then, that the summer arrival in Spain’s capital could do with a timely return to form, when Carlo Ancelotti’s troops face off with AC Milan in the club’s next fixture next week.

And, as alluded to above, in preparations for as much, Mbappé on Friday provided a reminder of his unquestionable talents when firing on all cylinders.

During a training matchup this afternoon, the 25-year-old picked the ball up out wide, on the left flank.

And, from here, Mbappé embarked on a wonderful drive, leaving all of Arda Güler, Lucas Vázquez and the flailing Antonio Rüdiger in his wake, before squaring for a simple goal for his side.
