"It was a poor performance", "I don't think we played good today", the team "didn't run at all".
On a weekend when Arsenal failed to defeat the worst Manchester United side in the club's 147-year history - according to their own head coach - the damning remarks above came from the manager and players of a Liverpool team which moved 15 points clear of the Gunners.
Arne Slot's lofty standards show no sign of slipping despite the widening chasm between his league leaders and their closest challengers. Such a relentless mindset has underpinned Liverpool's domination of the division which will surely be confirmed with the club's second-ever Premier League title. But when will this inevitability become a reality?

Liverpool could wrap up the Premier League title a week before everyone else unwraps their Easter eggs. If the Reds win their next two fixtures - a Merseyside derby at Anfield before travelling to Fulham - while Arsenal and Nottingham Forest lose their next four games, Liverpool could be crowned champions on 12 April.
This date would be the earliest any Premier League club has ever officially won the title, surpassing Manchester United's prompt procession which concluded on 14 April 2001.

Liverpool need 16 points from their remaining ten matches to lift the Premier League title. If Arsenal win their next six matches - which looks increasingly unlikely given their feeble forward line - and Liverpool rack up five straight victories, they would be crowned champions by avoiding defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the first weekend of May.
In the event that Arsenal lose next weekend's London derby against Chelsea - which serves as their game-in-hand while Liverpool go up against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final - and match the Reds' results thereafter, Slot's side can crack open the champagne if they defeat Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on 27 April.
Any Liverpool stumbles pounced upon by Arsenal would obviously delay the coronation, but a total turnaround at the summit is all but impossible. Opta's supercomputer has given the Gunners a chance of just 0.34%.

Fulham and Everton will both play a significant role in when the title is decided - even if the identity of the victor may as well be carved into the trophy. The two upwardly mobile clubs both face Arsenal and Liverpool in the coming weeks buoyed by memories of taking points off each title challenger during this season's reverse fixtures.
Liverpool host Arsenal in the middle of May in a fixture which has rapidly lost significance. The Gunners would have to be within nine points of the Merseyside outfit at kick-off just to ensure that they aren't forced into a guard of honour. Given the gap currently stands at 15 points, there's every chance that the title will already be decided by the time Arsenal head to Anfield.
