Matheus Cunha has been a key player for Wolverhampton Wanderers, showcasing his versatility in attacking roles such as attacking midfielder, supporting striker, and center-forward.

According to Fichajes, top clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain have shown interest in the Brazilian forward. Despite being content at Wolves and enjoying his Premier League experience, the club could entertain offers over €70 million.

Cunha’s standout performances, including the stunning “Olympic goal” he scored against Manchester United on Thursday to give Wolves a 1-0 lead, only highlight his attacking ability and could boost his value in the transfer market.

Will Matheus Cunha make a big-time move soon?

After the Wolves vs. Manchester United game, Michael Owen praised Cunha during his segment for Premier League Productions and hinted that the striker could be the next to leave Molineux.

“An incredible turnaround. They’ve got the individuals to put on a good show, they’ve not really been doing it this season,” Owen said (h/t TBR Football).

“Cunha might be the next one to leave, he’s top class. Scored the first, created the second. Two games, six points, talk about the bounce factor when a new manager comes in.”

The Athletic recently pointed out Arsenal’s need to bolster their attack, especially after Bukayo Saka’s injury. The report mentions that Arsenal have long been interested in Cunha, though he isn’t currently their top target.

Arsenal are keeping an eye on his strong performances this season and monitoring his situation. However, it’s unlikely that Wolves would allow him to leave during a season when they’re likely fighting relegation.

If Wolves are relegated, though, it could open the door for a move. There’s also the possibility that Cunha may not extend his contract, which runs until 2027.
