Wolverhampton Wanderers have locked down Matheus Cunha with a long-term contract extension despite heavy interest in him during the winter transfer window.
Rumors about his future continue to swirl. Cunha has quickly become a key player for Wolves, impressing in various attacking roles.
Whether he’s playing as an attacking midfielder, second striker, or center-forward, the Brazilian has adapted seamlessly and made a noticeable impact.
According to Fichajes, his performances have caught the eye of top clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain, all of which are reportedly monitoring him.
While Wolves value Cunha highly, reports suggest they could consider offers over €70 million. Sky Sports News also revealed that Nottingham Forest made a club-record bid of about £60 million for him during the winter window.

GIVE ME SPORT reported Thursday, citing sources, that Cunha is becoming more likely to leave Wolves this summer despite signing a new contract in January. His deal includes a £62.5 million release clause, making a move increasingly probable.
Cunha has been key to Wolves’ survival in the Premier League. After their recent win over Southampton, the team is now nine points clear of the relegation zone.
While Wolves would prefer to keep him, the release clause limits their control over his future, and it now seems more likely he’ll be moving on this summer.
