Manchester United have been handed a double defensive boost with the returns of Leny Yoro and Harry Maguire from injury.
The Frenchman has been sidelined for three weeks with a foot problem, while Maguire has been plagued by a calf issue throughout March.
However, both are in line to feature against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday which is welcome news given concerns elsewhere.
"Luke [Shaw] is not ready yet. We are building Luke. Mason Mount is feeling better. I think Kobbie [Mainoo] is almost returning but he's not ready for this game," he told reporters.
"Jonny Evans, Ayden [Heaven] are recovering. Licha [Martínez]'s out. Maguire is also ready to go to the game. Yoro, yes."
In addition, the Portuguese tactician was cautiously optimistic in suggesting that he believes his side may now have turned a corner after a difficult start.
"I think I can say that I am really confident and the players are more confident. The energy is different, but I know that could change with results," added Amorim. "We know we have to improve and we are ready for these final two months of this season."
