Good evening, coach. How do you analyze this match?

We saw two different halves. The first 15 minutes were good before Brest took control. We knew their very powerful style of play, especially on second balls. In the second half, we were the better team on the pitch.

I have a lot of respect for this team, whom I congratulate after this victory. We’re disappointed because we wanted to come away with a draw. We weren’t good enough tonight, and we can’t be happy with the result.

Tell us about your coaching at halftime…

It was a tactical choice. With Vanderson on the right flank, we had the opportunity to be more active offensively. We decided to leave Wilfried Singo in because of his aerial skills, particularly given the presence of Ludovic Ajorque. Regardless of the choices made at halftime, one thing is certain: we win and lose together, and that’s the most important thing.

How do you explain the second goal your players conceded?

The match was very open. Just before, Folarin Balogun had created a great opportunity to take the lead. The goal was to keep them under control; we had the chance to take all three points, and in the end, it’s hard to lose this match like that.
