Amine Salama to join Torino on loan for the rest of the season | OneFootball

In what’s been an active deadline transfer day for Stade de Reims, another one of their players is on the move.

L’Équipe reports that Amine Salama (24) is the latest to exit the Champagne club, joining Serie A side Torino FC on loan with an option to purchase.

Per Sky Sports reporter Gianluca Di Marzio, his purchase option is valued at €4m.

In January 2024, Salama was loaned to Stade Malherbe Caen, where he made 15 appearances and scored once.

He’s featured in 17 Ligue 1 affairs for Les rouges et blancs in 2024-25 while being involved in their two Coupe de France affairs.

The dual French and Morrocan citizen has operated as both a central striker and attacking midfielder, earning over 50 caps in the French top flight with Reims and Angers SCO, respectively.

On Sunday, Salama was in the Reims starting XI, playing as the lone striker upfront before being replaced by Mamadou Diakhon (19) after just over an hour.

Reims are currently on a nine-match winless run in Ligue 1, sitting 13th in the table. Salama is set to join a Torino side who are 11th in the Serie A table and have yet to lose in 2025.

At the same time, they’ve only scored 24 times in 23 domestic fixtures, the second-fewest among the top-12 teams in the league.
