Ascot United won the Southern Regional League Premier, while going top in other divisions were Bolton Wanderers, Chester le Street Town and Southend United.

EASTERN – Hatters catching up with the Crows

Premier – Royston Town suffered a blow to their title dream, as the leaders slipped to a 3-2 home defeat against Haringey Borough. Luton Town took full advantage, winning 4-0 at Wroxham with doubles by Tash Fensome and Priscilla Martins, as the Hatters moved within four points of the top side with three games in hand. Stevenage defeated Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers 2-0 and Enfield Town beat bottom side Cambridge City by the same score.

1 North – Newmarket Town won 2-1 at Mulbarton Wanderers and a hat-trick for AFC Dunstable’s Sian Morris helped produce a 5-2 result at Real Bedford Reserves. Histon were 3-0 winners over Whittlesey Athletic, Wootton Blue Cross Lionesses went eighth with a 3-1 victory against Thetford Town, while Kings Lynn Town’s Poppy Clapson scored the deciding goal in the 2-1 basement battle win at Biggleswade United.

1 South – Southend United replaced Colney Heath in pole position after a 3-2 win at Stanway Pegasus but Hutton are well placed and put five goals past Romford Town Flyers. Fourth drew with fifth as Hertford Town versus Chelmsford City ended 1-1, Lawford claimed an important win in the battle to stay up, 2-0 over Frontiers with a Megan Foord brace, Wormley Rovers got the only goal against Toby Ladies.

EAST MIDLANDS – Sheffield FC close in on title

Premier –  Sheffield FC struck three times in quick succession at SJR Worksop during a 3-2 win, that moved them five points clear at the top. Stamford finished their fixtures when sinking Nottingham Trent University 7-2, with Emma Pollard netting four times.

1 Central – River City scored all five goals of the game at Brookside Athletic, Long Eaton United edged Sleaford Town with Sommer Smith the sole scorer.

1 North – Belper Town beat Chesterfield FC in a battle to get out of the bottom two, Freya Wilson and Alice Faulding with two goals each. Arnold Eagles went level on points with fifth-placed Grimsby Borough, where Kitty Ward claimed the decider in a 2-1 result.

1 South – Newport Pagnell Town won 2-1 at Leicester City LFC to sit six points behind second-placed New Bradwell St Peter, with two games in hand.

LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Fulham and Saltdean gain on Dartford

Premier – Fulham and Saltdean United gained ground on leaders Dartford from one of their games in hand, the Cottagers netting 11 against Newhaven and the Sussex side scoring eight times at Haywards Heath Town. Dorking Wanderers defeated Sutton United 2-1, Ebbsfleet United and Barking shared four goals, Ashford United got out of the relegation zone at the expense of Sport London E Benfica where substitute Cally Evans scored in a 3-2 win. This Wednesday, Sutton host Fulham at Chipstead FC.

1 North – Brentford’s 3-1 result against Ashmount Leigh was their 17th straight win and kept them top by two points with as many games in hand on second-placed Bromley, who hit Leatherhead 6-1 helped by a Leen Winner Ekwo hat-trick in front of a crowd of 129. Clapton CFC are fifth after defeating Denham United in fourth 2-0 watched by 154 fans. Richmond Park drew 0-0 at Hackney but are now relegated, Richmond & Kew won 8-0 at AFC Whyteleafe where Charlotte Close got four goals and Hannah Curwen three.

1 South – The top three all drew, Aylesford substitute Beth Hulme scoring for the leaders in a 1-1 tie at Hastings United, which was the same score between third and second with Saltdean United Development hosting Bognor Regis Town. Welling United’s four goals at home to Montpelier Villa featured an Amelia Bate treble, Steyning Town saw off Soccer Elite Football Academy 3-2, Bexhill United beat Herne Bay 3-1.

NORTH EAST – Chester le Street Town go top

Premier – Chester le Street Town went top as Laura Hockaday hit a hat-trick in a 5-0 win at Wallsend BC, title rivals Bradford City are still a point behind after ending the hopes of Ponteland United with a 4-0 defeat. South Shields took the points 2-0 against Harrogate Town, Spennymoor Town were 7-1 winners at bottom-of-the-table Hull United.

1 North – Title-winning Thornaby had a 3-1 victory at second-placed Norton & Stockton Ancients Reserves, i2i International Soccer Academy won 5-1 over Washington, as they chase the runners-up spot. There was a 1-1 derby draw between Chester le Street United and Chester le Street Amazons, Hartlepool United won 3-1 at Consett and Redcar Town 2-1 at Gateshead.

1 South – Brunsmeer Athletic in third beat Handsworth in second 2-0 with goals in the last 15 minutes, to move within two points of leaders Ossett United and with one game still in hand. Lower Hopton had a 4-1 result against Sheffield United Foundation, Sheffield Wednesday turned a 3-2 half-time lead over Kiveton Park into an 8-3 result.

NORTH WEST – Bolton back on top, Poulton one win from title

Premier – Bury were beaten 4-1 at home by champions Wythenshawe, Salford City Lionesses remain bottom following a single-goal home loss to Crewe Alexandra.

1 North – Bolton Wanderers’ Neishai Gordon and Madison Hardman each claimed a treble in an 8-3 victory at Penrith, as they took back top spot from Accrington Stanley but having played three games more. Relegated Blackpool finished with a 2-2 draw at home to Morecambe.

1 South – Poulton Vics won 2-0 at Macclesfield FC to close in on the title with two games to go and still a four-point lead over FC St. Helens, who kept up their hopes when winning 7-2 at Chester. Runcorn Linnets replaced Mossley Hill Athletic in third spot after beating them 3-0 at home.

Alliance Design & Print League Cup Semi-Finals – Accrington Stanley will meet Mancunian Unity for the Cup on 4 May at Vauxhall Motors FC, after a Grace Hindley brace beat FC United of Manchester.

Alliance Design & Print League Plate Semi-Finals – Fleetwood Town Wrens eliminated Workington Town 3-1 after extra-time, watched by a crowd of 259. They will meet Curzon Ashton in the finals’ double-header, after they put out Preston North End 2-0.

SOUTHERN – Ascot United promoted to National League

Premier – Ascot United secured top spot when sinking Selsey 7-0, as Wycombe Wanderers were held 4-4 at home by Winchester City Flyers whose Lavinia Nkomo scored her second goal in added time. AFC Portchester won 2-1 at Woodley United, Reading overcame Badshot Lea 6-2.

1 North – Penn & Tylers Green went third in their push for the runners-up spot, a dozen goals past Caversham United featuring four each from Ammara Qureshi and Tara Woodward. Tilehurst Panthers beat Kidlington 7-1, with Georgia Hayes getting a treble.

1 South – AFC Varsity’s Bethany Maxwell got the winner for a 2-1 success at Fleet Town, who lost the leadership to Havant & Waterlooville and their 7-0 victory at  QK Southampton.

Chairman’s Cup Semi-Finals – Abingdon United Development reached the final with a 3-2 victory at AFC Stoneham, where they will face Oxford City whose Emily Harris got the only goal at Bournemouth Sports Reserves.

REGEN ARABLE SOUTH WEST – Saltash pile pressure on Plympton

Premier – Forest Green Rovers leapfrogged Sherborne Town into third when defeating them 3-0, Frampton Rangers picked up three points 2-1 at Poole Town.

1 North – Royal Wootton Bassett Town drew 3-3 at champions Gloucester City, whose Sachiko Kaneko-Grun completed her hat-trick in the 87th minute. Bitton are one point away from sealing second spot after a Layla Soppelsa winner at Bath City. Purton are bottom with games in hand and defeated fourth-placed Cirencester Town 5-3, Downend Flyers won 3-1 against St Vallier.

1 South – Saltash United’s 2-1 success at Weymouth put them level on points with leaders Plympton and with a game in hand, the top side going down 2-1 at home to Weston super Mare.

WEST MIDLANDS – Tamworth draw with ten-player Telford

Premier – Kidderminster Harriers’s 1-0 win at Coventry Sphinx kept them top by two points, Lye Town hit Solihull Sporting for six to stay within striking distance. Port Vale won 2-1 at Coundon Court with a late Sian McHugh goal, Shrewsbury Town’s Zoe Griffiths got the only goal at Shifnal Town, whereas Burton Albion banged in three at Knowle.

1 North – Tamworth tied 1-1 with leaders AFC Telford United, who had Abi Beady dismissed but Skye Hipkiss score a crucial goal. Lichfield City ran out 6-1 winners at Leek Town Reserves to move into second position, Walsall FC’s Molly Rose Cook scored three of their five goals at Eccleshall to put them third.

1 South – Redditch Borough’s Molly Maguire accounted for two of their three goals at Bromsgrove Sporting, which put them five points clear at the top. Redditch United are up to fourth and level on points also with Crusaders in third, after a 3-1 win over Hereford Pegasus.

East Fife secure Barclays Scottish Women’s Championship title
