🚨 Aston Villa confirm departure of Diego Carlos | OneFootball

Aston Villa have confirmed that Diego Carlos has joined Turkish side Fenerbahçe.

The 31-year-old defender joined the Premier League side from Sevilla in 2022, and has since made a total of 58 appearances for the Midlands outfit, scoring a single goal.

This season, appearances have been harder to come by following injury, as Carlos has started on just eight occasions in the Premier League, although he has made the starting XI five times in the Champions League.

The Brazilian joins José Mourinho at Fenerbahçe, with the fee paid said to be in the region of €10m.
