With the January transfer window open, FC Barcelona are not ruling out one or two important sales to fund new signings.
One of the players for whom offers will reportedly be heard this month is defender Andreas Christensen, who made his return to the squad today after four months out with an injury.
The Dane has made only one appearance this season, featuring for just 26 minutes, having been out of action since August.
Now with Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez cementing their place at centre-back and Ronald Araujo also back from injury, Christensen’s future has been cast into uncertainty – more so with his contract expiring in 2026.
Amidst all this, Mundo Deportivo now reports that Christensen is attracting interest from several Premier League clubs and Juventus from Serie A in the ongoing January window.

Juve are in the market for defensive reinforcements following the injuries to Gleison Bremer and Cabal while manager Thiago Motta has exiled Danilo.
As reported a while back, the Bianconeri are thinking about a loan move for Barça captain Ronald Araujo but the possibility of such a deal going through is highly unlikely.
As such, they have Araujo’s partner Christensen as a potential alternative for January given the Dane’s current predicament.
Meanwhile, several clubs from the Premier League are also understood to be interested in the 28-year-old, given the reputation he built for himself in England during his time with Chelsea.
It remains to be seen if the aforementioned interest from Juventus and the Premier League clubs translates into a formal offer and if so, how Barcelona respond.
