The upcoming weeks will be crucial for FC Barcelona, and they could make or break their season. With some big matches coming up and there being no time to rest, La Blaugrana need to be at their very best. However, it is also on Barcelona themselves to rotate and manage minutes accordingly.

After all, even the best players have limitations that need to be addressed as well. At various points this season, Barcelona have seen key players get sidelined and those injuries have had an adverse impact on the team’s overall ability to deliver big performances.

However, with the kind of season-defining games that are coming up ahead, Barcelona no longer have a safety net for either injuries or major slip-ups. Fortunately, Hansi Flick already seems to have a plan in place for the upcoming games.

As highlighted by SPORT, the German coach plans to use his strongest starting eleven in the upcoming La Liga clash against Celta Vigo. This line-up is reportedly the one that he plans to use against Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final.

The likes of Pedri and Inigo Martinez are expected to be back in the starting eleven for this game, and their absence was clearly felt against Borussia Dortmund in the recent game that Barcelona lost. However, with them back in the team, La Blaugrana will recover some leadership and control in their game.

Similarly, the rest of the defense will be the same one that has been relied upon for most of the season except for Gerard Martin. With Alejandro Balde still out injured, Martin will have to step up and perform at the level that Hansi Flick demands.

Over in the midfield, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong are essentially guaranteed to start together. In front of them, however, Fermin Lopez is expected to start ahead of the likes of Gavi and Dani Olmo for now, and that will reportedly remain the case in the Copa del Rey final as well.

As for the attacking trident, that will be the same one that has been dominating European in terms of offensive output this season. The likes of Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, and Raphinha are all expected to start and they have had enough of a breather to play at their best level again.

However, Flick plans to manage the minutes of his players as best as he can. That is why he will reportedly rotate his team against Mallorca following this upcoming game against Celta Vigo, in order to give them just enough rest to be at their best against Real Madrid in the final of the Copa del Rey.
