Sections of the Barcelona fanbase made use of the opportunity to send messages of abuse the way of Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. on Saturday.

This of course comes ahead of the fast-approaching matchup between the two sides.

The latest edition of El Clásico is set to play out later this evening.

With silverware on the line, Barcelona and Real Madrid will lock horns at La Cartuja, in a highly-anticipated Copa del Rey finale clash.

The aforementioned Vinícius Jr. will for his part be expected to feature from the off in the fixture, joining partner-in-crime Kylian Mbappé in the final third.

And as alluded to above, if the latest developments on the streets of Seville are anything to go by, the Brazilian could be in for a rough night…

As showcased below, members of the Barcelona fanbase came together on Saturday afternoon to belt out chants of:

“VINICIUS, MUÉRETE!” (“VINICIUS, DIE!”)

Others opted for a less harsh route, highlighting the 24-year-old’s recent runners-up finish in the Ballon d’Or voting, by way of cries of:

“Vinicius balón de playa, balón de playa” (“Vinicius beach ball, beach ball”).
