Barcelona Femení have seen their unprecedented run at home come to an end today after a shock 2-1 loss against visiting Levante.

After 16 straight wins at home across domestic league play, Barça's lead at the top could be narrowed to just five points thanks to a gargantuan Levante effort.

Goals from María Alharilla and Ivonne Chacón were enough to gift Levante, who sit 15th in the table, all three points despite a desperately late goal by Barça forward Fridolina Rolfö.

Coming into their Liga F clash this evening, Barça were unbeaten for 84 home games across all competitions and has not tasted defeat on their patch in 46 league games (45 wins, 1 draw).

Having last dropped points in the league last February, it appears Pere Romeu's side are human after all.
