The stance of the brass at La Liga giants Barcelona when it comes to the potential sale of midfield standout Pedri has on Monday been provided.

The name of Spanish international Pedri, for those not aware, has emerged as a prominent one in the headlines in England over recent days.

This comes amid the widespread understanding that the 22-year-old has been earmarked as a prime target on the part of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Amid an ongoing search for a long-term replacement for Kevin De Bruyne, Pedri has been identified as the ideal profile.

Some outlets, in turn, have gone as far as to point towards an incoming €100 million offer on the part of the Sky Blues.

If ensuing word stemming from Spain is anything to go by, however, then those of a Manchester City persuasion need not get their hopes up when it comes to a potential deal for Pedri.
