Barcelona star scoops La Liga Player of the Month award | OneFootball

Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has on Friday secured for himself a prestigious individual award.

This comes amid confirmation that the veteran frontman has been named La Liga Player of the Month for October.

Lewandowski for his part took to the pitch in league play on seven occasions across the month of October.

And to say that the Pole enjoyed a fruitful time of things in front of goal would be something of an understatement.

Lewandowski managed seven goals in these three appearances, a hat-trick against Deportivo Alavés, a brace versus Sevilla, and another two goals last weekend in season’s first edition of El Clásico.

As much gave rise to three wins from three for Hansi Flick’s troops, guiding them six points clear atop the table in Spain’s top-flight.

And, as alluded to above, such stellar exploits on the part of the prolific striker have today been recognised on the part of La Liga.

As per an announcement on Friday evening, Lewandowski has been voted Player of the Month for October:
