Barcelona booked their place in the Champions League semifinals this week by securing a 5-3 aggregate win over Borussia Dortmund.
Even though the club lost the second leg tie 3-1, their 4-0 victory in the first leg was enough to seal the tie. Barcelona, as a result, are now set to face Inter Milan in the semifinals.
Barcelona’s first leg tie against Inter is scheduled on April 30, whereas the two sides will meet each other in the second leg on May 6.
The tricky part for Barcelona in this entire ordeal is that the club are slated to take on Real Valladolid on May 4, just two days prior to their second leg tie against Inter Milan.

To that end, it appears La Liga are ready to offer a rare hand to Barcelona by rescheduling the Valladolid game, reports COPE.
As per the report, Barcelona’s game against Valladolid could be rescheduled to May 3, so that the Catalans have an extra day to prepare for the second leg tie against Inter Milan.
Although this will go a long way in helping out Barcelona, it must be noted that the club are more than likely to field a rotated squad against Valladolid.
Hansi Flick, after all, will have one eye not only on the Inter Milan second leg tie but also on El Clasico, which is slated for May 11.
The Valladolid game, therefore, could witness Barcelona field a second-fiddle team despite all the stakes involved, heading into the second Clasico of the season.
