Barcelona transfer target could cost €180 million this summer | OneFootball

An insight into the price-tag understood to have been attached to Barcelona transfer target Alexander Isak for the summer has on Thursday been revealed.

And it is likely to scare the Blaugrana off entirely…

The name of frontman Isak has of course long proven a prominent one in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital.

This comes with the Swedish international having been tipped by a whole host of outlets as a potential long-term replacement for the aging Robert Lewandowski in Barcelona’s frontline.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest word steming from the media this week is anything to go by, then the chances of a deal actually coming to fruition are slim to none.

During a Q&A for The Athletic on Thursday, transfer expert David Ornstein was asked about Isak’s situation with a view to the summer.

And his response was as follows:

‘Every player has their price and while I’m not aware of Newcastle specifically setting one for Isak, the number that seems to circulate around the industry is something like £150m (€178m).’
